Our new associate member, the municipal territory of Galzignano Terme is an Italian town of 4,334 inhabitants in the province of Padua in the Veneto region.  It connects a large flat area reclaimed with the hills, up to the slopes of Monte Venda, entirely included in the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills.  

The agreement with rurAllure was signed following the stakeholders’ visibility event that took place on 20 October 2022 at the Museum of the Euganean Hills in Galzignano Terme. 

Known for its spas, Galzignano is rich in valuable naturalistic aspects and cultural and artistic jewels such as Villa Barbarigo Pizzoni Ardemani, in the hamlet of Valsanzibio, with its historic Italian garden, one of the most important in the country. 

Easily accessible by private or public transport, Galzignano is one of the most evocative places in the Euganean Hills Park, with its strategic position with respect to the main artistic cities of northern Italy, such as Venice, Padua, Mantua, Bologna, and in the vicinity of the Via Romea Strata.  

Many nature trails of the Park pass through the town, allowing discover the monastery of Mount Rua, the remains of the Benedictine monastery of San Giovanni Battista on Mount Venda, the magnificent garden labyrinth of the Villa Barbarigo and thermal complex of the Terme di Galzignano in the Civrana area.
