The 4th edition of the BTRI – International Religious Tourism Exchange has concluded in Vicenza, Italy, taking place on 13 – 15 February 2023 in collaboration with ITALIAN EXHIBITION GROUP.
@Marinaspili won the first place of the rurAllure photo contest in the category dedicated to the Via Romea Strata, a pilgrimage route connecting Eastern Europe to Rome (more in our section about the thermal heritage on the Ways to Rome).
@Caminowalkskari won the second place in the rurAllure photo contest in the category “The St. Olav Ways – the pilgrim paths to Trondheim
The University of Vigo and rurAllure launch the course “Projects for the socialization of memories and assets in rural areas” within the framework of the Ibero-American Network for the Socialization of Heritage (Sopa) together with the Archaeology, Antiquity and Territory Study Group (GEAAT).
Eva Foldesy won the first place in the rurAllure photo contest in the category “Travel along the Way of Mary or way to Csíksomlyó (Mária Út).
Eric, from @eric_pelerin, has been walking along the Camino de Santiago for past 20 years. He shared his best shots for the photo contest winning the 3rd place.
From the 18th to the 22nd of January, rurAllure was present in the International Fair of Tourism (FITUR), a major event that counts more than 250.000 attendees every year in Madrid and that is the undoubted leader for sending and receiving markets in Latin America.
