In September 2023 Silvia González-Soutelo – rurAllure team leader for UAM Madrid, took part
in the training days on etruscology, medicinal and thermal sites, organized by the University
for Foreigners of Siena. We asked her a few questions to better understand the importance of
the thermal heritage for sustainable tourism.

The rurAllure project has won the 2023 edition of the “Skål Europe Sustainable Tourism Awards”, the prestigious recognition of sustainability in international tourism.

The Romanian Way of Mary Association (Asociatia Via Mariae) is a new member of the European Cooperation Network along the Pilgrimage Routes. Founded in 2012, it coordinates the implementation in Romania of the Way of Mary, the spiritual way across Austria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Croatia and Bosnia.

The European Institute on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, in cooperation with the University Network for Cultural Routes Studies launch a call for contributions for the second online academic workshop on cultural routes, aiming to bring together scholars, researchers, and students to exchange and share their research outcomes in the field of Cultural Routes.

On 11-13 October 2023, rurAllure took part in the TTG Experience in Rimini tourism fair with the project stand “Ways to Rome” and a series of conferences.
