rurAllure at a tourism fair “Fa la Cosa Giusta”

rurAllure was presented at the General Assembly of the European Association of Via Francigena ways which took place in Canterbury, England, on 27 April 2022.
The results of the rurAllure photo contest Wander with Heart and Body conducted by the Comenius University in cooperation with the Slovak University of Technology have been announced on 6 April.
On 29 April – 1 May rurAllure takes part in one of the most important sustainability fairs in Italy – Fa la Cosa Giusta. The fair, held in Milan, will host over 700 companies and entities from all over the country.
The Municipality of Pino Torinese in Piemonte region, Italy, joined the rurAllure project as an associate partner and will be involved in the project pilot “Thermal Heritage and others on the Ways to Rome”.
On 10 April 2022, the day of the Palm Sunday, the second dissemination event of the rurAllure programme was organized by the rurAllure partners from the Hungarian Way of Mary Association (MUTKE) and KIFÜ. This pilgrimage walk was run in the Mátra Hills in Hungary, between the Kodály Chapel at Galyatető and the National Shrine Mátraverebély-Szentkút.
RurAllure team member, Prof. Estefanía López Salas from the University of La Coruña (UDC), was appointed guest advisor for the new collection of publications “Safeguarding Cultural Heritage” on the prestigious platform Open Research Europe.
RURITAGE, a four-year EU-funded research project (2018-2022), joins rurAllure as an associate partner. While both projects have a common objective to enable rural regeneration through heritage, RURITAGE aims to sustainably enhance local heritage for regional and community development.
